The Workshops 4 Life team have been working quietly in the background, laying foundations, establishing positive relationships, and developing our key programs for women to establish intrapersonal Leadership, self-Empowerment and personal Growth – to help them to rebuild their capacity to Shine (L.E.G.S. program).
We have noticed that one of the key issues for women leading up to Christmas has been BURNOUT.
Burnout can have a significant impact on our mental, emotional and physical wellbeing. Some of the symptoms might include:
feeling overworked
feeling under pressure all the time
feeling extremely exhausted and fatigued
feeling that life has lost its sparkle
self doubt and worthlessness might creep in, and
you may feel like you want to isolate.
If you do not address these symptoms, you may shift into feelings of hopelessness and potential depression. So what can you do?
Stop, take a breath, and take a moment to reflect. Ask yourself, what do I need to do, to feel better?
Do I need to:
Take a break
Shut my computer down
Rest
Have a power nap
Go for a gentle walk in nature, beside water, or another beautiful place
Learn to say no (you already have enough on your plate)
Bring balance back into my life
Realign with my own values
Drink more water
Eat healthy
Connect with my support systems
Take a relaxing bath
Get a massage
Do breathe work
Meditate daily
Something else that works for you
