How I Work
Initial Holistic Counselling Session
The first session typically involves:
-
Rapport Building: Establishing a safe and trusting relationship between the client and counsellor.
-
Comprehensive Assessment: Exploring the client’s physical health, emotional state, mental patterns, and spiritual beliefs to identify areas of concern.
-
Goal Setting: Collaboratively identifying goals for personal growth, healing, or balance.
-
Introduction to Techniques: Discussing and agreeing on holistic methods to be used in the counselling process.

Follow-Up Holistic Counselling Sessions
Subsequent sessions may include:
-
Progress Review: Assessing improvements in balance and well-being across mind, body, and spirit.
-
Therapeutic Techniques: Continuing the application of selected holistic and evidence-based practices.
-
Skill Development: Teaching tools such as mindfulness, self-compassion, or stress management.
-
Emotional Release Work: Addressing and releasing unresolved emotions or trauma.
-
Feedback and Refinement: Adapting the approach based on client experiences and progress.

Holistic counselling is particularly suited to individuals seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and a more integrative path to well-being. For people considering holistic counselling, this approach offers a nurturing and comprehensive method to address life’s challenges while fostering harmony and self-empowerment.
